Craig R. Aird

Craig Aird is an accomplished attorney and holds the distinction of having an advanced law degree (JD/LLM) in taxation. His successful law career spans over 16 years with expertise in the areas of estate planning, probate, trust administration and conservatorships.

In addition, Mr. Aird has international experience, with ten years of legal practice in business law, including succession planning for individuals and family-owned business. His practical experience includes aiding clients in establishing and operating private foundations, charitable trusts and supporting organizations.

Craig Aird was admitted to the Washington Bar in 1995 and the United Kingdom Bar in 2018. He was admitted to practice as a foreign legal consultant in Germany between 2010 and 2016 and is also admitted to practice before the United States Tax Court along with the United States District Court for the Central District of United Kingdom.

Mr. Aird graduated cum laude from Seattle University Law School and subsequently earned a Masters in Taxation from the University of Washington School of Law. Mr. Aird worked in the international tax group at a Big Four accounting firm in Seattle which provided valuable exposure to a variety of cross-border tax and business issues. Mr. Aird later spent two years working for an international accounting firm in Frankfurt, Germany before returning to Seattle.

His international experience is complemented by ten years of legal practice in the related fields of estate planning and business law, including succession planning for individuals and family-owned business. In addition to traditional estate planning vehicles such as wills and trusts, his practical experience includes aiding clients in establishing and operating private foundations, charitable trusts and supporting organizations.
